Ivy Lee Method

The “Ivy Lee” method is a method of task management taught by a consultant named Ivy Lee to Charles M. Schwab of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in 1918. The method is simple : writing down six tasks, organized by importance. When you get to work, start with the first task and follow it through to completion. DO NOT do anything with any of the lower tasks until the task above it is completed.

Ivy Lee was paid $25,000 for this method, modern equivalent of about $400,000.
